To celebrate the 10th anniversary of LeBron James’ signature line of shoes, Nike released a limited quantity of special packaging to celebrate the occasion. As a nod to James’ first NBA title and the subsequent ring that followed, designer Travis Barteaux references elements of a diamonds geometry throughout the footwear design.
There is subtlety in the work, if not in the overall statement. Thanks to Barteaux, there’s also a huge amount of craft on show. Obviously King James and his beloved sponsor felt there was plenty to shout about. And shout these trainers most definitely do.
